IGP Umbrian Rosato Wine

Taste guide

The wine has a refined cherry pink color, bright and brilliant, inviting you to taste it. The bouquet is fresh and fragrant, with notes of pomegranate, wild strawberries, cherry blossoms, and a hint of broom, reminiscent of the Mediterranean spring. On the palate, it offers a fresh and lively attack, supported by a pleasant sapidity. The finish is harmonious, enveloping, and underscored by a subtle elegance that makes it smooth and engaging to drink.

The sommelier's advice

We recommend serving it at 12-14 °C to best enhance its fragrance and freshness. An excellent accompaniment to light, flavorful dishes such as summer salads, seafood soups, and typical Mediterranean first courses.

Recipe and processing

Grapes harvested manually in the early hours of the morning, followed by brief skin maceration necessary for extracting the color and aromas present in the skins; soft pressing of the grapes in an oxygen-free environment, so as to slow down the oxidative activity of the enzymes as much as possible. The wine is then aged on the lees for 5 months in steel containers.
