The exploration of the taste
The wine has an intense and deep ruby red color with purple reflections. To the nose we recognize intense aromas of plum and violet with a minty note on the finish. The taste is round and full-bodied, velvety and elegant.
The advices of the sommelier
We recommend to consume the Montefalco Rosso DOC at a temperature of 18º C, with an early opening of the bottle. It goes well with structured dishes, pork or game.
Recipe and ingredients
Grapes Sangiovese, Sagrantino and Montepulciano; vinification in steel with selected yeasts; alcoholic fermentation in steel; malolactic fermentation in steel; aging in barrique for 8 months and in bottle for 6 months.
